Job Expectations and duties

Assembling/mounting, tuning, and fixing of bikes, down hill skis, and cross-country skis Helping customers find the right products for their cycling and Ski/snowboard needs, based off your knowledge and experience Answering any questions customers may have: in-person, through e-mail, and over the phone Basic Labour; moving of boxed bikes, skis, and accessories Basic mechanical knowledge on downhill skis, cross-country skis, and outerwear for the winter months Basic knowledge on mountain bikes, full suspension, comfort, road and hybrid bikes Basic knowledge on all accessories offered and which accessories coordinate with each style of bikes Must be able to complete a satisfactory criminal record check

Sampson's has been in the ski/bike business for over 50 years now, with a family owned third generation owner Sampson's is about as 'local business' as it gets.

When it comes to skis we carry the largest brand variety in the city , and have one of the best equipped tech shops in the city including; ceramic edger, ski tuner with textured stone, etc...

Sampson's values Canadian business so when it comes to bikes we like to promote Canadian product. We carry both Rocky Mountain and Devinci bikes including hybrid, mountain, cyclocross, touring, and E-bikes.

Experience

retail sales: 1 year experience Ski/Bike repair: preferred but not mandatory, wage is calculated based on previous experience
