ur client, a reputable general contractor with decades of experience in retail and commercial construction, is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee the execution of interior fit-outs, renovations, and ground-up builds.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise all site activities to ensure safety, schedule, and quality standards are met Coordinate subcontractors, materials, equipment, and inspections Maintain daily site logs, manage attendance records, and enforce safety protocols Communicate regularly with the Project Manager and ensure alignment on timelines and deliverables Interface with clients onsite, particularly in operating retail environments Conduct risk assessments and enforce company health and safety policies Review drawings, monitor progress, and proactively solve issues on-site Submit weekly reports and participate in project meetings

What We're Looking For

Minimum 5 years of experience supervising construction projects, with a strong background in retail or commercial work Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction best practices Certifications in Working at Heights, CPR/First Aid, and Basics of Supervision Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings Strong communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills Hands-on experience in carpentry, drywall, framing, or other trade work is an asset Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams); MS Project is an asset Flexibility to work nights or out of town as required by project demands
