to help lead our high-performing Commercial Team.

A Day in the Life of a Site Supervisor at First Onsite

As a Site Supervisor on our Commercial Team, no two days are the same-but every day is driven by purpose and precision. You'll start your morning by reviewing project schedules, assigning tasks to your crew, and making sure everyone has the resources, materials, and direction they need to succeed. You're the go-to person on-site-leading by example, solving problems on the fly, and ensuring each job is done safely, efficiently, and to First Onsite's high-quality standards.


Throughout the day, you'll coordinate closely with the Project Manager, inspect ongoing work, update stakeholders, and monitor staff productivity. You'll jump in with hands-on support when needed, adjust plans as challenges arise, and keep everything on track toward timely project completion. You're also a guardian of health and safety protocols, ensuring your team and subcontractors work in a safe, well-communicated environment.


At the end of the day, you'll leave the site knowing you helped deliver excellent results for our clients and supported your team's growth and success-because that's what being a Site Supervisor at First Onsite is all about.


Qualifications:

YOU MUST HAVE - 3 years of experience leading crews of up to 25 people, ideally in restoration, emergency response, or commercial construction. Understand construction processes, project scheduling and Canadian building codes. You understand the health and safety laws and regulations that keep construction sites compliant and projects running smoothly. Clear, confident, and have a professional communication style on paper and in person. You can navigate Word, Excel, and Outlook with ease, and you have some experience using

Xactimate

. You thrive in a collaborative environment and go the extra mile to deliver top-tier client services. Comfortable with some hands-on work? You may find yourself lifting materials, climbing ladders, wearing a respirator, or exploring tight spaces like attics and crawlspaces-no two days are the same!
