Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent for a short-term construction project lasting 2-3 months. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of construction site operations. First Aid certification is required; if you are not already certified, we are happy to cover the cost of a 3-4 hour training course. Duties

Supervise daily construction activities and coordinate work schedules to ensure timely project completion. Coordinate with the project manager to prepare a summary of scope of work Report daily to the project manager. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents to ensure compliance with design specifications. Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate with subcontractors and other team members to facilitate smooth operations on-site. Conduct regular site inspections to assess safety practices and compliance with regulations. Provide training and guidance to site personnel, promoting a culture of safety and efficiency. Ensures the project site binder and related documents are kept neat and organized Run daily orientations with the subcontractors and team members Ensure site cleanliness and safety for the workers and the tenants

Experience

Proven experience as a Site Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry. Proficiency in reading site plans and drawings Strong skills in blueprint reading, quality control processes, budgeting, and construction estimating. Excellent supervisory abilities with a focus on team collaboration and effective communication. A solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations is essential for success in this role.
