This company specializes in industrial, commercial, and institutional (ICI) projects, delivering high-quality construction solutions across the region.Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Manage subcontractors, trades, and site personnel, ensuring adherence to project specifications and schedules.
- Enforce safety regulations and quality control standards to maintain a secure and efficient job site.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and consultants to resolve construction challenges.
- Review drawings, blueprints, and project documents to ensure alignment with scope and compliance with building codes.
- Conduct site meetings, progress reports, and inspections to track project milestones.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks, delays, and cost overruns.
- Foster a productive and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and accountability.
xe2x9cx94 10+ years of experience as a Site Superintendent in ICI construction.
xe2x9cx94 Strong knowledge of Ontario Building Code, construction safety regulations, and industry best practices.
xe2x9cx94 Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale ICI projects.
xe2x9cx94 Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, contracts, and specifications.
xe2x9cx94 Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
xe2x9cx94 Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, MS Project, etc.).
