A well-established construction management firm in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to join their team. This company specializes in industrial, commercial, and institutional (ICI) projects, delivering high-quality construction solutions across the region.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Manage subcontractors, trades, and site personnel, ensuring adherence to project specifications and schedules.
Enforce safety regulations and quality control standards to maintain a secure and efficient job site.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and consultants to resolve construction challenges.
Review drawings, blueprints, and project documents to ensure alignment with scope and compliance with building codes.
Conduct site meetings, progress reports, and inspections to track project milestones.
Identify and mitigate potential risks, delays, and cost overruns.
Foster a productive and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and accountability.

Qualifications:
xe2x9cx94 10+ years of experience as a Site Superintendent in ICI construction.
xe2x9cx94 Strong knowledge of Ontario Building Code, construction safety regulations, and industry best practices.
xe2x9cx94 Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale ICI projects.
xe2x9cx94 Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, contracts, and specifications.
xe2x9cx94 Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
xe2x9cx94 Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, MS Project, etc.).
xe2x9cx94 Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
