Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. As a Site Superintendent, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Duties

Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Coordinate and manage subcontractors and labor resources effectively to maintain project schedules. Utilize construction management software to track project progress, budgets, and timelines. Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure work meets specifications and standards. Collaborate with project managers to develop accurate budgets and forecasts for construction projects. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure proper execution of plans. Prepare reports on project status, including any issues or delays that may arise. Utilize tools such as ProCore and Bluebeam for project documentation and communication.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Site Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction management software and tools, including ProCore and Bluebeam. Proficient in budgeting, construction estimating, blueprint reading, and quality control processes. Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead teams effectively. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in all aspects of work. Ability to communicate clearly with team members, clients, and stakeholders at all levels. A commitment to maintaining a safe work environment for all personnel on-site.
