Job Description

The Site Supervisor directs all on-site activities for our residential renovation projects.

The role is accountable for:

Execution

- maintaining project schedules and quality standards.

Coordination

- supervising in-house crews and subcontractors, sequencing work, and securing timely inspections.

Compliance & Safety

- upholding Alberta OH&S requirements and documenting all incidents.

Client Interface

- serving as the primary on-site contact, providing clear progress updates, and proactively resolving issues.

Administration

- tracking labour, materials, change orders, and daily site logs in the CRM.
Key Duties:

Project Leadership

verify permits and establish site signage. Lead daily trade huddles and end-of-day reviews

Quality Control

o Inspect all milestones (framing, mechanical rough-ins, finishes)

Troubleshoot field issues--basic plumbing, electrical, cabinetry fit-up, finishing carpentry

Stakeholder Communication

Produce concise daily logs and weekly photo reports in the CRM. Conduct client walk-throughs

Cost & Documentation

Track timesheets and material receipts Submit and monitor change orders; prevent budget drift

Qualifications:

Experience:

5 + years in residential interior renovations with at least 2 years supervising crews or multiple trades.

Technical Competence:

Basic plumbing (sinks, faucets, ice-maker lines) and basic electrical (low-voltage lighting); solid finishing-carpentry skills (baseboards, casings, wainscotting, door hanging).

Leadership & Communication:

Proven ability to lead teams, interpret drawings, and communicate professionally with homeowners and designers.

Digital Literacy:

Comfortable with email, mobile photo capture, and scheduling or project-management apps.

Logistics:

Valid Alberta driver's licence, reliable vehicle, and a tool kit suitable for finishing work.
