Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Superintendent to oversee the completion of construction projects in various phases. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires effective communication with various stakeholders, including contractors, clients, and team members.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations on the construction site to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Coordinate and manage subcontractors and laborers to maintain project schedules. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and enforce quality control measures. Review blueprints, schematics, and project plans to ensure alignment with project goals. Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring all expenses are tracked accurately throughout the project lifecycle. Facilitate communication between all parties involved in the project, addressing any issues that arise promptly.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Site Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices. Excellent skills in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, quality control processes, and budgeting. Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team collaboration and effective communication. Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently while maintaining a positive work environment. A commitment to safety standards and practices on the job site. Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 1-3 months

Pay: $45.00-$65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

Concord, ON L4K 2L8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Willingness to travel:
