Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Person to join our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting equipment and facilities to ensure smooth operations. This role requires strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills, along with leadership qualities to oversee maintenance activities and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Duties

Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and facility infrastructure Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems using schematics and technical manuals Operate and program programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to optimize equipment performance Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, inventory, and maintenance history Conduct welding repairs as needed to restore or modify equipment Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and repairs Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance tasks including plumbing, HVAC, and building repairs Lead small teams during maintenance projects, providing guidance and ensuring safety protocols are followed Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations

Requirements

Proven experience in facilities or manufacturing maintenance with supervisory or leadership responsibilities preferred Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical drawings Electrical experience including troubleshooting control panels and wiring systems Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and CMMS software Skilled in welding techniques for repair or fabrication tasks Knowledge of manufacturing processes, facilities maintenance, and safety protocols Excellent communication skills in English for effective team coordination and documentation Ability to lead maintenance projects, supervise team members, and prioritize tasks effectively Strong customer service mindset to support internal clients within the organization
