Job Description


We currently have an opening for a Site Inspector within the Greater Toronto area. The successful candidate will have 3+ years of experience of watermain or sanitary sewer construction. This is a contract position.

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Providing site inspection services at client sites and construction projects
  • Applying your skills to engage with colleagues in a supportive, collaborative environment to assist with the high-quality delivery of a variety of civil infrastructure projects for our clients
  • Participating in ongoing mentorship from our leadership team as well as opportunities to assume increasing responsibilities, participate in design assignments, leading to fantastic opportunities for career advancement
  • Complying and working within COR certified environment and performing all duties in accordance with those specified under the Occupational Health & Safety Act and applicable legislation
Job Requirements
  • Minimum completion of a Diploma in Engineering Design or Civil Engineering Technology from an accredited post-secondary institution
  • C.E.T. designation is an asset
  • Minimum 3 years of working in a consulting engineering environment undertaking site inspection for watermain or sanitary sewer construction projects
  • Demonstrated experience preparing documentation including daily logs, photographic records, requests for information, change orders, and deficiency lists
  • Demonstrated thorough understanding of local standards and specifications including OPS and DGSSMS
  • Demonstrated experience preparing tender documents is an asset
  • Working knowledge of Civil 3D including the preparation of record drawings and/or previous design experience is an asset
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Desire for continued learning and innovation
  • Focus on providing outstanding service to clients
