Key Responsibilities:
Support the General Manager in supervising all stages of construction projects
Assist with
project estimation, construction layout
, and coordination
Review and interpret
blueprints, specifications, and structural steel shop drawings
Communicate clearly and professionally with crews, vendors, and site administration
Foster a
positive and encouraging work environment
Ensure
site safety protocols
are followed and upheld
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or Associate-level education in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field
Strong understanding of
construction processes
and
formwork systems
Proven ability to
communicate effectively
, both verbally and in writing
Experience reading and interpreting
technical drawings and documentation
Must have
access to personal transportation
and be willing to travel between job sites

Duties
Supervise construction crews to ensure adherence to project specifications and timelines.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to guide construction activities effectively.
Assist in the preparation of construction estimates and budgets.
Assist with construction layout procedures.
Maintain high standards of workmanship throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to facilitate communication and resolve any issues that arise during construction.
Train and mentor team members in best practices for safety, efficiency, and craftsmanship.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Experience
Proven experience as a foreman or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
Understanding principles of formwork assembly. Hands-on experience in the use of different formwork systems.
Ability to read architectural and structural blueprints, and shop drawings accurately. Understanding the priority of information and analysis. Good investigative skills.
Developed supervisory skills with a focus on team building and motivation.
Experience with construction estimating.
