Responsibilities
  • Support the project lead in achieving project objectives
  • Guide discussions and facilitate effective communication among team members and clinical/non-clinical stakeholders
  • Manage processes to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks
  • Foster collaboration and teamwork to achieve project goals
  • Handle logistics and resources for various project activities
  • Assist in documenting processes, decisions, and outcomes
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying areas for enhancement and implementing solutions
  • Provide updates and feedback to the project lead and project team
  • Identify and analyze project risks, proposing mitigation strategies and contingency plans
  • Support stakeholder engagement (e.g., Ministry of Health, Health Authorities, Doctors of BC, and vendor partners) as required
  • Maintain detailed records of meetings, action items, and project progress
  • Facilitate requirements workshops and stakeholder interviews to gather detailed requirements
  • Create and maintain project artifacts, such as use cases, user stories, and process flow diagrams as required
  • Analyze and document user requirements and translate them into functional specifications
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree in business, administration, project management, or a related field
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to guide discussions and facilitate collaboration among diverse groups
  • Experience in handling logistics and resources for projects
  • Experience in business analysis, including process mapping and requirements gathering
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Ability to document processes and outcomes accurately
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
  • Ability to adapt and respond to changing project needs and priorities
  • Experience working in BC Health Authorities considered an asset
  • Knowledge of OceanMD and EMR systems considered a strong asset
