SITE DEPLOYMENT SPECIALIST Aversan Inc. ( ) is a reputable Engineering Company that provides expertise in Systems Integration, Product Design/Development and Software/Product Testing for highly regulated industries including Digital Health, Medical Devices, IT and Aerospace. We are currently seeking a qualified Site Deployment Specialist to work on leading edge technology products. The successful candidate for this position will be a part of highly motivated and highly technical work environment that feeds off the collective energy of a team-oriented workplace.

Location: Burnaby, BC (Hybrid)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in CBTC system integration, testing & commissioning for a given project site.
• Undertake Site Integration, Commissioning, Handover and Start-up activities when a product or system evolution has to be implemented.
• Ensure tests are properly executed and managed.
• Perform some PICO testing and assists in Testing and Commissioning activities as required.
• Ensure completeness of tests as well as compilations of evidence against requirements, and ensures traceability of evidences.
• Support site testing during the integration and commissioning periods.
• Analyze the technical facts, monitor the technical facts lifecycle within the appropriate commissions.
• Undertake problem solving and troubleshooting as required by commissioning activities.
• Produce validated acceptance records (i.e. test certificates).
• Ensure all the right considerations for field work with respect to work authorizations are in place.
• Completes progress reports related to Test & Commissioning.

• University graduate (Bachelors degree is minimum) with an engineering background.
• Working knowledge of railway signaling principles.
• Knowledge of IVVQ practices and processes pertaining to site Testing & Commissioning.
• Excellent knowledge of current and legacy desktop publishing software (e.g. MS Suite, Visio, DOORS, Adobe Acrobat, Requirement Management tools such as DOORS or equivalent, JIRA).
• Technical knowledge and skills required, e.g. IVVQ, System Engineering, Safety, etc.
