Who We're Seeking

We're looking for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable math instructor to introduce students (ages 6-14) to the power of Singapore Math. This is a part-time, in-person weekend teaching role.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver interactive lessons using Singapore Math techniques to small groups or individual learners. Evaluate each student's current level and adapt your teaching approach accordingly. Teach core problem-solving frameworks, mental calculation strategies, and model drawing. Monitor progress, give constructive feedback, and adjust lessons as needed. Create a welcoming, confidence-building learning environment that encourages curiosity. Communicate regularly with parents about student performance and goals. Assist with curriculum development or additional learning resources if required.

What You'll Bring

At least 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring Singapore Math. Strong grasp of Singapore Math concepts and methods. 2+ years of teaching/tutoring math to elementary or middle school students (preferred). Ability to explain mathematical ideas clearly, patiently, and in an age-appropriate way. A genuine passion for education and the ability to make math enjoyable for students. Teaching certification or a background in math education is a plus, but not mandatory.
