At Simplii Financial, we're on a mission to build the relationship-focused bank of the future and we're looking for passionate collaborators, innovators, advisors and leaders who can get us there. You will join our Simplii Process Engineering team during this 8 month co-op role and have a real impact in making banking simple! You will stretch your innovative thinking skills to help enhance banking for the modern world.
Reporting to the Director, Process Engineering, you will support all processes specific to Simplii Financial products or functions and is accountable for their continued optimization. You will learn the basics of business analysis and work to support change management, using industry design methodology and tools to optimize the client experience and process performance.At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.
Important informationYou are enrolled in a degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering or a related field at the time of the work term, with a graduation date no earlier than December 2026.

Relationship Management - Collaborate directly with partners to introduce new processes, products and services for new and existing clients. Grow your network, deepen existing relationships, and collaborate with others to ensure clients are connected to the right people and opportunities.
Project Management - Ensure execution of initiatives to drive growth, client acquisition, client engagement and product development.
Business Analysis - Produce project documents including business and solution requirements packages, process maps and presentations for consultation and review with partners and stakeholders across the Simplii team.
Document Management - Support the management and organization of reusable project artifacts and catalogues.
