The Sim Lab provides simulation support and is equipped with diverse resources to facilitate the design, development, and delivery of simulations.The Sim Lab Technologist will support the development and delivery of simulation experiences for students as well as support the operational needs of the lab. Reporting to the Associate Dean, but under the general guidance of the Simulation Specialists, the Sim Lab Technologist will facilitate simulation set-up, operating pre-set simulation controls, simulation development, cleaning equipment between usage, Sim Lab open and closing procedures, while ensuring that rules, policies, and safety procedures are being observed. The incumbent will also support file management, the scheduling of lab usage, reply to inquiries as needed, conduct equipment inventory, and support preliminary research for the development of new simulations.
