Mobil Grain is looking for an experienced

Signal Maintainer

to work on the LMR and BGS railroads. This position will revolve around inspecting and maintaining our automated warning devices and wayside detection sites across over 300 miles of track. Familiarization training and a company vehicle will be provided to the successful candidate.

The successful applicant must:

Have previous experience as an electrician, or with a class I railway working in Signal Functions would be an asset Responsible to comply with all federal and applied railway rules, laws, guidelines and standards Responsible to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications Responsible to install, examine, replace, or repair electrical receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, and other electrical components Confident in electrical/electronic diagnosis Methodical, clean and tidy when performing duties Must have valid driver's license Strong communicator - must be able to independently coordinate with other departments Willing to work 20 to 40+ hours/week Willing to work in adverse weather conditions Willing to be on call for emergencies Commitment to safety Negative pre-employment drug test is required
