Sign Maker / Installer Custom Sign Lab is located in Beamsville, Ontario and is dedicated to providing clients with high quality Printed and Custom Fabricated Signage, Wraps and Advertising/Branding solutions for their businesses. We currently have an immediate opening for an experienced sign builder with creative and technical skills to help bring these solutions to life as a primary fabricator and installer. About The Job: At Custom Sign Lab your responsibilities would include (but not be limited to): Raw fabrication, refining, paint and assembly of signs from various materials including Aluminum (kits and extrusion), Acrylic, PVC and wood. Following shop drawings and established processes to ensure accurate and quality products CNC flatbed router operation (willing to train system specific operations) Flatbed C02 Laser operation (willing to train system specific operations) Operation of power and hand tools, such as compound Mitre Saw, drills, rivet guns, etc. Installing 12V and 24V LED lighting components Assisting in application of printed graphics to panel signs and/or vehicles Operation of project management software (Monday.com) as necessary. Installation of Signs. Maintaining inventory supply and receiving shipments Keeping an organized and tidy workspace (cleaning, garbage removal, etc.) About You: Expert ability to use shop tools such as drills, saws, sanders, air tool, etc. Experience operating CNC based equipment. Precise measurement, applied mathematical skills & attention to detail. Creative and technical problem solving and independent working skills. 3 years minimum Sign Shop experience. Ability to lift 50 lbs of sheet or roll stock, and well coordinated partner lifting skills. Experience working at heights (ladders, scaffolding, aerial lift equipment) Ability to work safely and comfortably in a production shop environment including noise, dirt and chemical handling Valid drivers licence with good driving history.
