Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated

Sign Installer

to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation of various types of signage, ensuring that all projects meet our high standards of quality and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Install a variety of signage types, including channel letters, light boxes, vinyl graphics, illuminated and non-illuminated letters, and hoarding signage Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and installation instructions Measure and mark guidelines to ensure accurate placement Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively Prepare installation sites by removing old signage and ensuring surfaces are ready for new installations Ensure all installations comply with safety regulations and company standards Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients Perform site clean-up after installations

Qualifications and

Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sign installation or a related field

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Certifications and Licenses:

Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License with a clean driving record Fall Protection Certification (or willingness to obtain) Aerial Lift Certification (an asset) Journeyman Electrician License (an asset)

Skills and Abilities:

Proficient in using hand and power tools Strong understanding of signage materials and installation techniques Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 pounds Willing and able to travel for extended periods (including multi-week assignments)
