MISSION OF POSITION

To expertly install industrial signage with precision, safety, and a commitment to excellent customer service, ensuring satisfaction and adherence to industry standards and regulations.

KEY CRITERIA/REQUIREMENTS

Valid G Divers License {with a clean drivers abstract} and reliable transportation to work

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and signage plans

Strong knowledge of industrial signage materials, including metals, plastics, and composites

Skilled in operating various tools and equipment, such as drills and saws

Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces while adhering to safety protocols

Excellent attention to detail and precision in measuring, cutting, and installing signage components

Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, contractors, and clients

Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and permits related to signage installation

Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems that may arise during installation processes

Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service throughout the installation project

Experience with scissor and bucket trucks is an asset

Working knowledge of sign industry and installation methods

Electrical and wiring knowledge is a must

Ability to obtain security clearance

Weekend and evenings may be required
(must be able to work overtime when and if required)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Ability to work schedule effectively and efficiently

Installing and servicing of interior & exterior signs, illuminated & non-illuminated cabinets, letters, pylon, flex faces and awning with some vinyl application

Prepare installation surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary adhesives or mounting hardware.

Safely operate tools and equipment such as drills, saws, and lifts to install signage components.

Measure, cut, and assemble signage materials with precision according to project specifications.

Install signage securely using appropriate fasteners, brackets, or mounting systems.

Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the installation process.

Conduct quality inspections to verify proper installation, alignment, and functionality of signage.

Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving problems, and ensuring satisfaction with the installed signage.

Maintain accurate records of installation activities, including material usage, work hours, and project progress.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
