We are a custom shop offering all types of fabrication services to our clients, the types of projects vary giving you the opportunity to work on different things. Each day in the sign industry is different, if that sounds interesting to you please contact us.
Pay will be based on experience. Health and dental benefits are available after three months of employment, with the cost being split 50/50 with the employee.
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Fabrication, cutting, and welding of aluminum and steel frame sign structures, base plates, pylon signs, pole sections, sign cabinets, aluminum channel letters, awnings, and architectural structures.
General woodworking; sanding, staining, etc.
Building and assembly of all types of signs; laying out LEDs, low voltage wiring, etc.
Interpretation of detailed shop drawings, artistic renderings, conceptual drawings, and plans to bring to reality with efficiency and structural integrity.
Communicating effectively with the shop foreman and co-workers.
Keeping track of time sheets on jobs including labour and materials for each project.
Comply with all safety requirements, work rules and regulations.
Have a creative interest in the final product and finished look to ensure client satisfaction.
Being a "jack-of-all-trades" is an asset, we work on a variety of projects involving all types of materials in-shop and in the field.

Background, skills and training
Experience in the sign industry is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person, provided you are a fast learner.
Must be self-motivated, passionate about your work and able to get the job done on time and with the utmost level of quality.
You will require creative problem-solving skills and be able to overcome challenges.
Must be clean, organized with tools, and able to maintain paperwork. (Basic Computer skills an asset).
Experience in the following would be an asset:
Welding (aluminum and steel)
General construction
Power & hand tools
Painting
Blueprint reading
Sign fabrication and install
Light equipment operation and trailers
Awning fabrication/fabric stretching
Personal qualities include: - good trouble-shooter / problem solver - even-tempered, solutions-oriented - extremely organized and able to manage time effectively - strong work ethic - the ability to perform work duties outside in all weather conditions - a desire to learn and grow.
Technical Requirement: The right candidate must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract.
