The Role

We are looking for a Leadhand Siding Carpenter to support the Site Supervisor with day-to-day site operations, lead our labor team, and ensure a safe, clean, and efficient jobsite. You'll set the tone for craftsmanship, safety, and professionalism while helping the project stay on schedule and budget.

Key Responsibilities

Siding & Exterior Carpentry:

Install Hardie and wood siding systems, perform exterior trim, rainscreen, flashing, and envelope detailing, read drawings, ensure high-quality workmanship.

Site Leadership:

Lead and coordinate the labor crew, assign tasks, track productivity, assist with sequencing, and trade coordination.

Safety & Compliance:

Model WorkSafeBC and company safety practices, complete daily FLHAs and weekly inspections, maintain a clean, organized, inspection-ready site.

Reporting & Communication:

Record daily progress, communicate issues proactively, support reporting in Procore and Google Drive.

Tools, Materials & Site Readiness:

Maintain trailer inventory, ensure tools and materials are ready for daily work.

What You Bring

Red Seal Carpenter preferred (not required), 1+ years in a leadership role such as Lead Hand or Foreperson, strong siding and exterior carpentry experience, understanding of building envelope best practices, ability to motivate crews under tight timelines, strong communication skills, valid Class 5 BC driver's license.
Nice to have: multifamily or commercial construction experience.

Pay: $38.00-$42.00 per hour
