Based in Nanaimo, B.C., Makon Projects Ltd. is a locally owned full-service general contracting company providing superior solutions for commercial, institutional, industrial, and multi-residential construction projects on Vancouver Island. We are seeking a siding installer who is based in the Comox area to work on a project located in Comox, BC.

Responsibilities & Duties:

2+ years of experience installing siding for commercial or residential construction. Install siding trim, soffit, fascia, and flashing as needed. Measure, cut, trim, and prepare materials for assembly Ability to read and interpret building drawings, spec sheets, shop drawings, building codes and WorkSafeBC regulations. Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner Comply with company safety policies and procedures Maintain the work area and ensure it is clean, safe and organized Install and different types of siding materials, such as vinyl, wood, fiber cement, and aluminum.

Qualifications & Education:

Minimum 2-year Siding Experience High school diploma/GED preferred A Valid driver's license and reliable transportation The ability to work at heights Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures Punctual and reliable Strong communication skills Can take initiative Problem-solving and organizational skills The ability to work in a team environment Attention to detail

Pay: $23.00-$33.00 per hour
