Role Summary:

As a Shuttle Driver at DoubleTree by Hilton, you will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation for guests while delivering exceptional customer service. There is a huge guest services influence on this position, and the successful candidate is expected to train in basic knowledge of the hotel operating system to assist with guests checking-in and out.

Schedule:

We are looking for someone to fill this role Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm. However, flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends is required.

Role Responsibilities:

Safely transport guests to and from designated locations while following all traffic laws and safety regulations. Provide friendly, professional customer service, assisting guests with boarding, luggage, and general inquiries. Maintain a clean and well-presented shuttle vehicle, conducting pre- and post-trip inspections and reporting maintenance concerns. Assist with guest services, including providing directions, answering questions, and offering recommendations about the local area. Assist the Front Desk team with guest check-ins, check-outs and basic guest inquiries. Communicate effectively with front desk and other departments to coordinate guest transportation needs. Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate issues as necessary to ensure a positive experience.

Role Requirements:

Valid driver's license Class 4 is required. 5 years clean driver's abstract Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to lift and assist guests with luggage. Previous experience in hospitality, transportation, and customer service is an asset.
