Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Shuttle Bus Driver to join our team. The Shuttle Driver will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to and from designated locations while providing excellent customer service on a daily basis. The service route will be a daily scheduled service in the lower mainland. This role requires experienced drivers with strong communication skills and the ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge to assist with minor vehicle maintenance assessment and ensure the shuttle is in optimal working conditions.

Responsibilities

Safely operate the shuttle vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations in high car and pedestrian traffic areas in the downtown city core. Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information about routes, schedules, and local attractions. Maintain a clean and organized shuttle environment for passengers. Perform routine inspections of the vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly. Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or other items as necessary. Ensure timely arrivals and departures according to the established schedule. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any passenger inquiries or concerns professionally.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driver's license of Class 4 license. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance tasks on the shuttle vehicle. Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism while interacting with passengers. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
