Join our dynamic team as a Shuttle Bus Driver and become a vital part of providing safe, reliable, and friendly transportation services to wedding couples and their guests. In this energetic role, you will operate shuttle vehicles to transport passengers efficiently across designated routes, ensuring a positive experience for all riders. Your dedication to safety, excellent customer service, and professional driving skills will help keep our operations running smoothly and our passengers satisfied.

This job will run from the beginning of May until mid-October. It's a seasonal position. There is staff accommodation available. This accommodation is available only to the employee, and we do not have space for spouses, family, or friends.

Responsibilities



Safely operate shuttle buses (buses range from 11 to 14 passangers), adhering to traffic laws and company policies Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing friendly and courteous customer service at all times Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure mechanical safety and proper functioning of all systems Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and passenger counts in compliance with company standards Communicate effectively with dispatchers and passengers using clear language and professional communication skills Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly to ensure vehicle safety and reliability Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of seat belts, safety equipment, and adherence to paratransit or school bus driving regulations when applicable

Skills



Proven experience in bus driving, shuttle driving, or delivery driver roles with a strong focus on customer service Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor issues Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for bus or shuttle operation Excellent communication skills in English to interact confidently with passengers and team members Ability to handle diverse situations calmly and professionally while maintaining safety standards Knowledge of maintenance procedures related to bus driving and vehicle upkeep Experience in shuttle driver roles is a plus but not required

Certificates, Licences, Memberships & Training



Valid Class 4 / 4F / F / 4A-B-C licence permitting operation of ambulances, emergency vehicles, and buses with fewer than 24 passengers Current driver's licence in good standing Provincial or territorial commercial vehicle licence (Class 4 or Class E)

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
