We are seeking a reliable and experienced AZ Local Highway Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting freight and materials efficiently and safely, ensuring timely deliveries across designated routes. Duties

Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight and materials between locations Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance or coordinate repairs with automotive repair specialists Ensure all freight is secured properly before transit to prevent damage or accidents Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and compliance with transportation regulations Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws during operations Assist with warehouse duties such as inventory management or equipment operation when necessary

Skills

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, or other industrial machinery is preferred Knowledge of freight handling and securement techniques Basic automotive repair skills for minor troubleshooting and maintenance Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for documentation and route planning Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently Excellent communication skills for coordination with team members and clients Start with $23 per hour and after 3 months of successful probation period, individual will get $24 per hour.
