Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and experienced AZ Driver (Shunter) to join our team. This role is primarily focused on yard shunting operations, including moving, positioning, boosting, and starting trucks and trailers safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial driving experience, a solid understanding of vehicle mechanics, and the ability to work long hours while maintaining a calm, safety-focused, and hardworking approach.

This position requires 6 days per week availability, with extended working hours as needed. If you are safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and take pride in maintaining vehicles and yard operations, we encourage you to apply.

Must have verified AZ Experience with 53 ft trailers for at least 2 years

Responsibilities:

- Boosting & Starting Trucks in yard efficiently with high precaution and by following all the safety measures
- Safely operate vehicles with very calm and workaholic behavior and mindset
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic automotive repairs as needed on daily basis
- Moving and Dropping 53 feet Trailers from one yard to other yards; all company owned equipment
- Maintain accurate records of vehicles, including mileage, fuel consumption, and yard handling
- Communicate effectively with team members and higher management, coordinate with sales team and dispatch, update location of vehicles throughout work day.

Qualifications:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving and operating heavy equipment
- Able to follow instructions, start trucks, problem solve, multi task and work outside if needed
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
