We are looking for individuals to join our family that are excited to be part of making quality and innovative snack foods.Role & Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Plant Manager the shunt driver will:Work closely with the production planner and purchasing manager and the logistics managerPerform daily yard shunting, and load transportation between facilitiesReceive product in a safe and efficient mannerLoad or unload product as neededCommunicate with other shunt drivers to execute logistics and productions needs
Maintain company equipment standardsQualifications & Experience
- Class 1 driver's license
- Minimum 3 years of safe driving experience
- Clean driver's abstract
- Basic Knowledge technology (cellphone & email)
Superior organization skills and ability to multitask conflicting demands
Effective interpersonal skills and positive teamwork attitude
Adaptable attitude, willing to adjust to scheduling changes
Self-starter who does not require close supervision
Ability to prioritize work, follow through, and deliver results
