Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused
Shunt Driver
to join our operations in Brampton. This role also includes supporting basic yard management and security duties to ensure a clean, safe, and well-organized facility.Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and secure the yard premises, ensuring safety and compliance with company policies.
Shunt, move, and position trucks and trailers efficiently and safely.
Assist with yard management tasks, including organizing trailer storage and coordinating arrivals/departures.
Basic computer tasks, including logging vehicle movements and reporting incidents.
Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding yard operations.
Maintain a clean and organized yard environment.
Requirements:
AZ License OR previous trucking experience (experience with shunting/moving trucks and trailers preferred).
Flexibility to work day and night shifts, including weekends.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Basic computer skills
Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
