Position Overview
Mobius is seeking a highly capable, design-driven Showroom Manager to lead the daily operations and presentation of our newly opened showroom. This role sits at the intersection of luxury retail, interior design, brand experience, and marketing. The ideal candidate is equal parts leader, curator, host, and creative--someone who can manage people and process while elevating Mobius as a destination for design.
Ideally you will be responsible not only for sales performance and client experience, but also for merchandising, events, and brand expression across the showroom, digital channels, and marketing
Key Responsibilities
Showroom Leadership & Operations
Oversee day-to-day showroom operations, ensuring a polished, welcoming, and impeccably maintained environment
Manage the full sales lifecycle for key clients: consultation, quoting, ordering, and delivery coordination
Client Experience & Sales
Act as a senior design and sales resource for high-value clients and complex projects
Ensure every client interaction reflects Mobius' values of craftsmanship, clarity, and elevated service
Build and maintain long-term client relationships through proactive follow-up and concierge-level care
Merchandising & Visual Presentation
Curate showroom layouts, furniture vignettes, and material libraries to reflect current collections and brand direction
Lead seasonal refreshes, installations, and visual storytelling within the space
Ensure visual standards are consistently upheld across all displays and product presentations
Events, Partnerships & Brand Activation
Plan, coordinate, and host showroom events, private previews, launches, and client appreciation gatherings
Collaborate on partnerships with designers, architects, artists, and local cultural organizations
Act as a brand ambassador during events, press visits, and community engagements
Marketing, Creative & Digital Presence
Oversee and contribute to Mobius' marketing output. Ideally including:
Social media content and strategy
Website updates and basic web design coordination
Photography and videography (in-showroom, product, lifestyle
Graphic design assets for signage, promotions, and campaigns
Work with external creatives and vendors as needed, maintaining brand consistency across all channels
Track campaign performance and adjust strategy to support showroom traffic and sales growth
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in luxury retail, interior design, showroom management, or a related field
Strong eye for design, merchandising, and spatial presentation
Demonstrated experience coordinating events or brand activations.
Proficiency or strong working knowledge of:
Social media platforms and content creation
Web platforms (e.g., Squarespace, Webflow, Shopify, or similar) is an asset
Photography and basic photo/video editing is an asset
Graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite or similar) is an asset
Proficiency with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) is an asset
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Highly self-directed, detail-oriented, and comfortable wearing multiple hats
Ability to work weekends, evenings, and events as required
Degree or certification in Interior Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
Compensation & Schedule
Job Type: Part/Full-Time
Compensation: Competitive salary, commensurate with experience, plus performance-based incentives
Schedule: Weekdays, weekends, and occasional evenings for events
Work Location: In-person (Mobius showroom)
