Job Summary:
OriginalLuxury is seeking an experienced and polished
Showroom Director / General Manager
to lead our private showroom operations and oversee online sales. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing luxury or ultra-luxury menswear retail, both in-store and online. This role requires someone who is client-focused, detail-oriented, and confident in managing a small team, high-value inventory, and digital operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the private showroom and online store
Manage appointment bookings and deliver a world-class client experience
Build and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth clients and VIPs
Supervise, train, and support showroom staff to ensure top-tier service
Manage luxury inventory, visual merchandising, and vendor coordination
Monitor online presence, including product listings, sales performance, and customer service
Collaborate with digital marketing teams to enhance brand visibility and drive online sales
Analyze financial reports, set KPIs, and drive revenue targets
Ensure the showroom reflects a pristine, luxury environment at all times
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of management experience in the
luxury or ultra-luxury men's fashion sector
Proven experience managing
online retail sales and digital storefronts
Strong understanding of luxury menswear brands and clientele expectations
Exceptional clienteling and communication skills
Experience with retail management systems and inventory control
Ability to lead a team and uphold brand standards in a boutique setting
Flexible availability for appointments, including evenings and weekends if needed
Multilingual abilities are considered an asset
