Position Details



Euro Tile & Stone is looking for client detail focused Showroom Associate for it's designer showroom. You will have the opportunity to directly impact the success of our client's business, often working directly with business owners and retail clientele. About the role



The Showroom Associate, under the direction of the Branch Manager, will primarily be responsible to ensure clients are guided and supported through the selection process. Maintain exceptional customer service, consultation and experiences for every client who enters the store.

What you will be doing



Act as a first point of contact and provide general information to staff, clients, and the public relating to their questions, concerns, or suggestions Adapt communication style in order to deliver information effectively to a range of individuals Provide exceptional service, consultation and customer experience to anyone who enters our store Build professional relationships in order to close sales Understand a sale can often take more than one visit to the store so building relationships, even with retail walk-ins, is very important Adhere to established safe working procedures and wear the proper safety equipment at all times Always maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner Analyze client needs and make recommendations for products to satisfy client goals Answer telephone and electronic inquiries and relay telephone calls and messages Develop and build relationships with new clients Balance serving clients in-store and proactively communicating, following up and managing other projects/selections on the go Collaborate with other Showroom Associates and work harmoniously with other business units including Account Managers, merchandising, logistics managers, operations managers, etc. Have great understanding of vast product types and collections including continually familiarizing yourself with new products in order to relay information to clients Find creative ways to use our collections and staying up to date with design trends to aid directing clients Ensure project requirements are met, including timelines, inventory levels, processing orders/payment and communicating with all parties involved Ensure store conditions are consistently upheld to established standards Ensure that all health, safety, and security regulations are adhered to and required standards are met Estimate or quote prices Maintain a high level of confidentiality in all interactions Participate in merchandising and promotional activities Present a positive and professional image of the organization when interacting with employees, clients/customers, visitors, and other external stakeholders Provide one-on-one end-user support and problem resolution via telephone, e-mail, and other vehicles of communication Provide superior customer service on the phone, by email, and in the showroom, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor at all times Verify the availability of stock prior to placing order Works closely with Outside Sales, other Showrooms, Shipping/Receiving, and Warehouse staff to coordinate delivery of product and keeps clients up to date Other Duties as required

What you bring



High school diploma, GED, or equivalent 2 yeas of customer service experience 2 years retail sales Familiar with ERP systems Ability to analyse and interpret the needs of clients and offer the appropriate options, solutions, and resolutions required Ability to quickly pick up new product and service knowledge, and communicate that knowledge effectively to customers Ability to familiarize yourself with new products and relay information about products to provide clients direction Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing Other languages would be an asset Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands Ability to collaborate with other members of the shroom team and other units of the business Demonstrated time management skills and attention to detail High flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse environment Ability to work individually as well as part of a team Ability to adapt to new technology

Work Conditions

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
