Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Snow Blower Operator/shoveling to efficiently clear snow and ice from designated roadways, parking lots, residential properties and walkways during winter months. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills and a solid understanding of landscape maintenance and construction equipment. This role is essential for maintaining safety and accessibility in inclement weather conditions, ensuring smooth operations for our clients and community.

Duties

Operate snow blowers and related equipment to remove snow and ice from roads, parking lots, sidewalks, and other surfaces. Perform routine inspections of plow machinery to ensure proper functioning and safety. Conduct minor maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment as needed, utilizing hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical knowledge.

Skills

Proven experience operating snow blowers or similar heavy machinery. Mechanical knowledge related to maintenance and repair of construction or landscape equipment. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques. Knowledge of irrigation systems, gardening practices, horticulture, and landscape maintenance is a plus. Ability to work in adverse weather conditions during winter storms. Strong attention to safety procedures and protocols. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
