We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a short order cook. Duties
Serve customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive experience
Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards
Assist in cooking and food preparation tasks to support kitchen operations
Handle food safely, adhering to all health and safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including kitchen and dining areas
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety of all meals served
Support meal presentation and portioning to meet quality standards
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during service hours
Experience
Must be able to lift 50lb bags of flour.
Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
Familiarity with food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
Experience in serving customers with professionalism and attentiveness is a plus
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude toward learning new skills in the food industry
