Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled short order cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment while having some fun! You will play a vital role in meal preparation and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. If you thrive in the kitchen and enjoy working as part of a team, we would love to hear from you. It is part time to start but could lead to fulltime.

Duties

Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management. Pitch in to help in other areas when needed. We are all here for each other :-)

Qualifications

Previous experience as a short order cook is a must. A valid food safety certificate. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. Passion for cooking with a willingness to learn new techniques and recipes. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools is an asset. Be able to put up with an 80's singing chef in the kitchen :-D

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
