We're looking for an awesome person to join our amazing team as a Shopify Web Designer. Why are we looking for a Shopify Web Designer? Because we are growing and need someone with expertise in creating engaging B2B e-commerce experiences. We want someone with confidence in their skills and ideas about what makes an awesome online experience but also someone that is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to those around them.

This person would work alongside our IT Manager and our Program and Marketing Teams. As Shopify Web Designer, you'd be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of our Shopify e-commerce websites. This includes customizing themes, installing and configuring apps, managing product catalogs, and ensuring smooth site performance and an easy user experience.



What you'll do:



Research, design, develop, and customize Shopify themes according to client requirements and brand guidelines; Install, configure, and troubleshoot Shopify apps and code; Assist in the build and maintenance of product catalogs, including uploading, organizing, and updating product information; Implement and manage payment gateways and shipping options within Shopify; Optimize website performance for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness; Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility; Collaborate with our IT Manager to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Shopify websites and integrations with our Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. Create and maintain clear, organized documentation for Shopify stores and related workflows.

Things you're great at:



Proficiency in Shopify platform and Liquid programming language; Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; Experience with theme customization and app integration; Knowledge of e-commerce principles and best practices; Working well with dynamic, fun and engaging groups of colleagues

The successful candidate would approach challenges with a positive, solution-focused mindset and has to demonstrate good judgment when problem-solving. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are essential, while proficiency in French is considered an asset. Familiarity with G Suite is beneficial. Adaptability and managing competing priorities or tight deadlines are also important. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are key to success in this role.
