Job Description

As a Shopify Data Entry specialist, your primary responsibility is to manage and update product information on the Shopify platform. You will work closely with the e-commerce team to ensure accurate and timely entry of product data, such as titles, descriptions, prices, images, and inventory levels. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will contribute to the overall success of the online store. Responsibilities: Product Data Entry: Enter product information, including titles, descriptions, prices, SKU numbers, images, and inventory quantities into the Shopify platform. Image Management: Upload product images, ensuring they are properly formatted, labeled, and displayed correctly on the website. Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and update inventory quantities on the Shopify platform to ensure accurate product availability information. Quality Assurance: Review product information for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to company standards. Identify and correct any errors or discrepancies. Categorization and Tagging: Assign appropriate categories, tags, and attributes to products to optimize searchability and improve the overall customer experience. Product Updates: Maintain and update existing product listings with new information, including price changes, promotions, or other relevant updates. Collaboration: Coordinate with other team members, such as graphic designers or content writers, to gather necessary information and assets for product data entry. Qualifications: Proficiency in Shopify: Strong familiarity with the Shopify platform is essential, including experience with product data entry, inventory management, and overall store management. Attention to Detail: Accurate data entry is crucial to maintaining a well-functioning online store. You should have excellent attention to detail to ensure information is entered correctly and consistently. Organizational Skills: The ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment is important. Strong organizational skills will help you stay on top of product updates and meet deadlines. Basic Knowledge of HTML and CSS: While not mandatory, basic knowledge of HTML and CSS can be beneficial for formatting product descriptions, creating custom pages, or making minor adjustments to the website\'s appearance. Technical Aptitude: Comfort working with digital tools and software is necessary. You should be able to quickly learn and navigate various e-commerce and data management systems. Communication Skills: Effective communication and collaboration with team members are important to gather information and resolve any issues promptly. Problem-Solving Abilities: Demonstrating the ability to identify and resolve data-related issues or discrepancies is valuable in this role.
