Your core mission in this role is to coordinate a team in repairing, building, and testing designs; achieving on time delivery while maintaining high quality standards. In This Role You Will

• Schedule and organize shop activities
• Communicate with the engineering teams
• Remove roadblocks preventing project success
• Create and improve systems and processes to improve shop output and quality
• Assist with fabrication and assembly of jigs, test stands and prototypes
• Ensure shop stays clean and stocked with required equipment
• Create training documentation to ensure hires can be quickly and successfully onboarded
• Assist in employee recruitment, performance evaluation, promotion, and termination activities
• Other duties as assigned

We\xe2\x80\x99re Looking For

• Ability to lead, motivate, and grow a team
• Experience with fabrication (Welding, assembly, machining, etc)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Understanding of lean principles
• Attention to detail
• Experience working with engineers in a production environment
• Ability to take initiative with time management and organization skills
• Proficiency in Office365
• Experience with design tools such as Autodesk Inventor would be considered an asset
• Class 5 License
