Shop Labourer - Lead

:

Answer Trailer Rentals & Sales is looking for a full-time Shop Labour Team Lead. Tasks include washing trailers and equipment, service shop cleaning, warehouse duties, yard maintenance and guiding a small team of labour team members. A successful candidate in this role will report to the Service Manager and thrive in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities:

Lead, guide, and supervise the labourer team.

Setting daily and weekly goals for the team and hitting those targets.

Taking responsibility for key objectives within the company.

Wash equipment and general housekeeping tasks.

Capable of working with minimal supervision.

Committed to a safe work environment.

Able to work in a fast-paced, pressure filled environment.

Work under tight deadlines, doing repetitive tasks.

Physically demanding environment, needing manual dexterity.

Strong attention to detail, good hand-eye co-ordination.

Standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Shop cleaning and warehouse organization when instructed.

Available to work overtime as required.

Qualifications:

Must have experience in a supervisor or lead role.

Good written and oral communication skills.

Skidsteer or forklift experience an asset.

Able to lift 50lbs (23 Kg).

Must have own transportation as location is not serviced by public transportation.
