We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Shop Hand to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our shop, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining an organized and efficient workspace. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Abrasive blasting, cleaning, degreasing, and all other required prep work of customer supplied tools & equipment

Cleans and prepares tools & equipment in preparation for process treatment

Apply surface treatments to tools & equipment

Operates and maintains all necessary shop equipment (Blaster, ovens, work area, tools)

Moving and handing tools & equipment to and from designated areas - must be able to lift upwards of 75 lbs

Performs daily maintenance and minor repairs on equipment

Packages completed tools & equipment for shipping

Inspects final product, ensuring conformance to specifications

Operates forklift &/or pallet jack to transfer parts throughout the shop

Ensures daily housekeeping is maintained within working area and common areas

Assisting with shipping & receiving as necessary

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Forklift ticket considered an asset High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) High school diploma (minimum requirement)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
