This job requires a strong work ethic and is able to effectively manage time to meet deadlines. This position also requires you to be hands-on, and operate equipment.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance & minor repairs on Summer & Winter equipment/vehicles
• Assist in keeping yard and shop clean & organized
• Assist with general shop duties as required
• Perform general equipment maintenance- such as cleaning, basic mechanical assessment & repairs
• Safety checks
• Monitor and maintain records of inventory, supplies, and equipment/vehicle maintenance records
• Report equipment that requires major servicing or repair
• Order supplies that are needed within shop
• Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions

Job Requirements:

• Knows how to operate basic hand tools as well as summer & winter equipment
• Valid G licence
• Ability to work in cold and hot environments
• Knowledge and respect of workshop safety
• Knowledge in how to operate heavy equipment would be considered as asset
• Able to work unsupervised and with a team
• Able to meet deadlines
• Detail oriented

Wage: $23 - $28 Depending on experience
