Shop Assistant Sanding Preparation For Cabinet Painting
Job Description
True Lifestile Design is a custom millwork/cabinet shop located in Saskatoon, providing high quality interior design and millwork to homes and businesses across the province of Saskatchewan. The candidate will work along the other shop team members to create a great looking product.
The hard-working candidate will:
Sand different species of wood and MDF to prepare it for painting and staining
Mask off pieces of wood to prepare it for the top coat of paint
Work with orbital sanders, routers, and other small power tools
Be standing in one place for long periods of time
Move objects weighing 50 to 75 lbs, ensuring a safe and productive workspace
Assist in packing and unpacking cabinets for deliveries
The candidate also:
Has an eye for detail
Knows how to read a tape measure
Has organization skills
Understands written and verbal instructions
Takes pride in their work
Demonstrates pride in their meticulous work and maintaining and persistent commitment to excellence
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
