Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Shop Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be organized, communicative, and capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
Help keep the shop and warehouse clean and organized. Conduct deliveries and pick-ups in town and the surrounding area as required. Work Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with the potential for overtime during the week and some weekends. Support the team to ensure smooth store operations. Once trained, occasionally help handle phone inquiries professionally, demonstrating good phone etiquette.
Requirements
Valid class 5 driver's licence, with a clean abstract. Prior experience in a mechanical shop setting is an asset. Previous experience in customer service is an asset. Solid communication skills in English. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Friendly demeanor with the ability to work well in a team environment and adapt to a fast-paced setting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
