Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Shop Assistant to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, assist with product merchandising, and support daily store operations. This role offers an opportunity to develop sales skills, engage with diverse customers, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. Bilingual abilities and experience in technology sales or product demos are a plus.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to customers Support merchandising efforts by organizing displays and stock levels Operate POS systems for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties Upsell products and promote special offers to increase sales Maintain organized shelves and ensure products are well-presented Provide exceptional customer service through effective communication and phone etiquette Manage time efficiently to ensure smooth store operations during busy periods Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies as needed Support team members with various retail tasks to ensure a seamless shopping experience

Qualifications

Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly desirable Experience in retail sales, technical sales, or merchandising preferred Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities Ability to perform product demos and upsell effectively Customer service-oriented mindset with friendly phone etiquette Ability to work well in a team environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities Previous experience with technology products or retail sales is a plus
