Shop Administrator

Valley Blacktop, a division of Terus Construction Ltd., is seeking a Shop Administrator. This position is based in Revelstoke, BC.

Duties/Tasks

• Fill out Requisitions to order parts
• Receive incoming Freight and DO POD
• Generate work orders for equipment repair
• Schedule outside repairs with vendors for equipment
• Keep shop supplies stocked
• Conduct weekly safety meetings
• Complete monthly shop inspections
• Enter hours/kilometers monthly
• Enter fuel consumption
• Help prepare budgets for winter work repairs
• Generate winter work orders for winter repairs
• Use of software for timecard entry
• Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in Administration
• Valid class 5 driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and clean current drivers abstract.
• Basic knowledge of mechanics and equipment repair.
• Must comply with the company\xe2\x80\x99s drug and alcohol policy, including testing requirements
• Must comply with all company policies
