Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Presser to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that all garments are pressed to perfection, maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation. This position is essential in supporting our laundry operations, particularly within a hotel environment, where guest satisfaction is paramount.

Responsibilities



Operate pressing machines and equipment to remove wrinkles and creases from garments. Inspect garments for quality assurance before and after pressing. Sort and organize items based on fabric type and pressing requirements. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pressing area to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with laundry staff to ensure timely processing of all items. Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to management promptly.

Skills



Previous experience in a hotel setting is preferred, showcasing an understanding of hospitality standards. Knowledge of laundry processes and techniques, particularly in garment care. Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify quality issues quickly. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00-$21.11 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
