Oversee and manage the entire shipping process to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods. Supervise staff, coordinate with carriers and maintain compliance with shipping regulations and company policies. Manage finished goods inventory while ensuring that the customer is supported for their requirements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and continuously improve (reduce) the inventory of raw materials.
Act as the internal interface and support.
Manage all applicable department's open issues (internal & external) and drive them to closure.
Adherence to all company procedures and policies, including active participation in all requirements to retain IATF certification.
Inventory participation.
Generate all shipping paperwork included but not limited to, international and domestic documentation and ASN submission.
Respond in a timely manner to customer concerns and requests.
Maintain and issue supplier scorecards.
Manage all supervisory duties for the shipping team such as vacation time, employee discipline and scheduling to ensure an efficiently run department.
Lead with 5S strategies to drive continuous improvement in the shipping department.
Train staff to customer standards during new program launches or internal system improvements.
Other duties as assigned.

Display a strong understanding of domestic and international documentation and logistics for shipping requirements.
A) EDUCATION
Post-Secondary is preferred.
B) TRAINING
Customer Specific Delivery Training.
C) EXPERIENCE
Minimum 5 years' experience in a manufacturing atmosphere, preferable injection molding is preferred.
Experience with an MRP system.
D) ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Valid passport
Valid driver's license
WORKING CONDITIONS
May be required to travel as needed for company business
Periodic evening or weekend is expected
