Primary Responsibilities:




Supervise, schedule, and coordinate shipping, receiving, and warehouse personnel to meet operational goals. Oversee the loading, unloading, inspection, and documentation of incoming and outgoing shipments. Verify the accuracy of shipments, bills of lading, packing slips, and purchase orders. Ensure compliance with company procedures, customer requirements, and transportation regulations. Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts. Work closely with production, purchasing, and customer service to support on-time deliveries. Select and coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and courier services. Train and mentor team members on proper material handling, safety practices, and company procedures. Investigate and resolve shipping/receiving discrepancies or damage claims. Enforce workplace health, safety, and housekeeping standards in the warehouse. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Prepare and maintain performance reports on shipping accuracy, turnaround times, and carrier performance. Follow all Occupational Health & Safety Regulations and Company Health & Safety Policies and Procedures.

Educational Requirements:




Post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.

Required Skills & Expertise:




Post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role. Knowledge of freight carriers, logistics documentation, and customs processes (if applicable). Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Proficiency with ERP systems, warehouse management software, and Microsoft Office. Excellent communication and leadership skills to motivate and manage a team. Ability to operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment (license/certification may be required). Valid G driver's license Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Equipment/ Tools/ Technology Used:



Forklift experience (counterbalance) ERP experience (Visual Manufacturing)

Physical Demands:



Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly. Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures. Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods.
