Continental Day Shift: 8:00am - 8:00pm Starting Salary: $22.50 base pay ($0.50 day shift premium) Work 7 (12 hour) days every 2 weeks Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday Straight day shift, no rotation Unionized environment

RESPONSIBILITIES

Work as a team to achieve production, quality and safety goals Reduce and/or eliminate scrap and inefficiencies by identifying problems and possible corrective measures Follow human resources, environmental health and safety, and Pliteq policies Complete all job-related paperwork as required. Ensure work areas are clean, organized and safe from any hazards Provide "on the job training", including training on Netsuite to new employees Provide training, mentoring, direction, and sharing shipping and receiving duties with crew and new teammates Monitor, report absenteeism, hazards, accidents, non-compliant performance Participate in accident investigations and work refusals Attend work related training Assist in production duties such as operating production equipment and quality control Safe operation of Forklift Receiving all inbound goods timely, accurately and with required inspection procedures and documentation Shipping of all outbound goods timely, accurately and with appropriate documentation Safely wrap, label, and palletize all goods for transit internally or externally Maintain, count, track and monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods Report all shipping/receiving quantities and shipments in the ERP system Aiding in all activities associated with raw material supply Wrap, strap and correctly label all materials used and produced Review product for quality and conformance standards and reporting to supervisor when issues are identified Any other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

Post-Secondary Education or equivalent experience At least one year of manufacturing experience or equivalent 2+ years of shipping and receiving experience or equivalent Valid counterbalance forklift certification 2-3 year of counterbalance forklift experience Lift up to 55 lbs on a repetitive basis Stand for 12 hours Clear criminal record check required
